Muesdays…..

Busy busy day – end of the month AND a Muesday to boot.  Got to work a little later than I normally would have – but I got it all done (working through lunch sure helps!)    I’m a little (okay, a LOT) stiff and sore today – apparently bending over and planting a bajillion flowers yesterday made my thighs protest…loudly!  It’s definitely been interesting sitting down and standing up – and walking’s also been a load of fun.  Well, tomorrow I’ll be pushing it a little further and adding some other things into the mix.  What doesn’t kill you makes you stronger, right?

Tonight, I haven’t done much of anything.  I had a list of things I wanted to work on, but got involved in a hysterical conversation with the BuxBabes – so I side tracked myself.  While I may not have been productive in my studio, I was productive building strong friendships, and well, that’s a whole lot more important (in my opinion!)  It has definitely been an amusing evening!

I have a bunch of Journal Jane prompts that I’ve been hoarding – no real reason why I haven’t been writing about them – other than just not feeling like ‘writing’ all that much.  Well, I’m going to dig those prompts out, along with the other ones, and start writing.  Feel free to comment :)

A question from Journal Jane…Write about the most fascinating person you know (or can imagine) as if you were describing him/her to a friend. Write a detailed description.

I know a lot of people, and most of them are fascinating.  I don’t hang out with boring people – not for any particular reason – other than I find everyone fascinating – everyone has their own history, their own path, their own journey – and it’s fascinating to me.  Life has a way of putting interesting people into your life, when you need them the most.   Right now, there are three women in my life who support me through everything – they make me laugh, they hold my hands when I cry, they give me support when I need a shoulder, and they kick me in the ass when I need it.  I call them my Bux Babes – because we’re all addicted to the glory that is Starbucks.   We met on Facebook, and haven’t met in person yet – but we plan to…and I’m not sure the world will survive THAT weekend!   They’re each wonderful women – with interesting stories around them.  Two walk the bariatric surgery path with me – and one has not had bariatric surgery, but has also kicked ass losing weight on her own.  We’re sisters – sharing a common bond.  They are such awesome people – and I am SO lucky to have met them.

Life is awesome that way…and I am truly blessed!
